Dinner and Bar Menu at Henry’s
Let me tell you about the Henry’s vibe at South Lake Union! The decor is nothing but inviting.
Recently, I partnered with Henry’s and so happy I experienced the Dinner & Bar menu! I visited on a Saturday night and it just happened to be a popular night of football. Iowa and Iowa State.Did anyone watch? It gave you that sense of excitement when greeted with a full tavern of football fans!
Service, Appetizers, and Entrees
We were greeted by Manager, Jen who was absolutely pleasant and created a welcoming environment. We were seated to our table and introduced to Leo who was our waiter. He shared the menu specials and started us off with some drinks. Some of our favorites were Crown Royal, Smith & Kerns, and a Scratch Margarita. Definitely, added a bit a flavor to the night.
Along with the drinks The Hand-Dipped Country Fried Chicken Tender appetizer was excellent. Served with one of my favorite dipping sauces.Who doesn’t love ranch? To step it up a notch it wasn’t the basic ranch it was peppercorn ranch. Can you say delicious? In addition, Henry’s offered the signature BBQ Sauce which was a nice addition to have options. The chicken tenders were served with waffle fries with cheese filling on top. Delish!
By the same token, I must confess my stomach was a bit full after the appetizer. For my main dish I ordered the Southwest BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad. With a few edits, minus the corn, black beans, avocado. As pictured below this was another large portion, make sure to prepare yourself. The lettuce was fresh and chicken was perfectly made for the salad.
The Blue Moon Ale True Cod & Chips was agood choice and generous in portion. The cod had agolden and light crispy texture served with house-slaw or fries. Another go-to item was the The Pear, Walnut & Prosciutto Salad. Served with house greens, fresh basil, jalapeno-pear vinaigrette and topped off with shaved parmesan. Definitely order it again! Originally, ordered this as a starter salad however, because of a slight delay the salad was upgraded to what is called the “Big” Salad. Again , this was a very large portion.
Moreover, Henry’s offers desserts, but by this time I couldn’t possibly take another bite! However, the desserts look yummy so make sure you save enough appetite to include their Ice Cream Sandwiches and Cinnamon Apple Donuts. One tip, I did park in the garage which was $15 for parking. Not too bad for South Lake Union however, if you can find parking within the city you will save yourself a few extra dollars.

Lastly, I want to give a sincere thank you to the entire Henry’s team for their service and hospitality. Also, thank you to Head Chef, James who visited our table to make sure everything was okay.
