Christmas Shopping Guide
‘Tis the season to blow your budget! Well, maybe not all of it, but exactly how much you spend might come down to what kind of Christmas sales you discover. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the most popular days of the season to shop. But they aren’t the only times you can find good deals. If you have an unfinished gift list like I do, hopefully this Christmas shopping guide will help you find the best days to shop before Christmas!
Christmas Shopping Guide
Green Monday
Did you know, the second Monday of December is known as Green Monday at eBay? Each year they have sales throughout the day. You can usually find sales or special promotions from other online retailers. However, they won’t use the term “Green Monday” to promote the sales. So keep an eye out. Who would have thought?
Free Shipping Day
Also, December 14th is a great day for online shopping! It’s known as the last day you can order something online and have it arrive in time for Christmas. This year, over 1,000 retailers are offering some kind of free shipping promotion and most of them will have sales to go with it. You can find a great list of participating retailers here, including Macys, JCPenney, New York and Company, Old Navy, and Target. Those are just to name a few.
Amazon Deals
Every day Amazon has a new list of “Today’s Deals” which will continue to be updated throughout the holiday season. Be sure to check them out early in the day as some of the deals are limited quantity and the sales go fast. Amazon also has anOutlet sectionwhere you can find good deals on overstock items.
Amazon has also extended free shipping to shoppers within the US who don’t have Amazon Prime for orders under their usual $25 minimum. There is no set date for this promotion to end, but they have said it will be available for all orders arriving before Christmas. So if you aren’t a Prime member, pay close attention to the deals on Amazon leading up to December 14th.
Super Saturday
The last Saturday before Christmas is known as Super Saturday because it’s a key day for last-minute gift buyers to shop. I found a lot of great deals at department stores last year on Super Saturday. If you are willing to brave the crowds, this can be a great day to shop in store.
What great deals are you finding as you Christmas shop this year?
XOXO,
