I’m Trying The Best Blended Margarita Recipes For You This Summer
My favorite drink on a hot, summer night is a blended margarita. I love trying different flavors when I’m out at restaurants and trying different recipes at home. Today I’m going to share my favorite recipe for a classic, blended margarita along with a few fun recipe ideas I’m going to try this summer if you want to join me in my search for the best blended margarita recipes.
The Best Summer Blended Margarita
Ingredients:
* 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice * 2 ounces simple syrup (make your own with this simple syrup recipe!)
* 2 ounces agave tequila
* 1 ounce orange liqueur (I like Grand Marnier, but you can use your favorite)
* 3/4 cup ice
* Pink Himalayan sea salt
Combine everything in a blender, toss in your ice, and blend on high until your ice is broken up. Pour into a glass with a salted rim.
It’s that easy to make your own blended margarita at home!
Blended margarita tip: Chill your liquors before you mix your margaritas. This will help them stay frozen longer.
More Margarita Recipes I’m Trying This Summer
I’m sure I’ll add to this list as the summer continues, but here are a few margarita recipes I’m trying this summer:
* Pineapple & Kiwi Margarita – I need to eat more kiwis, so I’m excited to see how they taste in a margarita. Ha! * Fresh Fig Margarita – Not only does this sound delicious, it looks pretty, too. * Blueberry Passion Fruit Margarita – I’ve had blueberry margaritas before, and they were great, so I’m excited to see how this goes with the passion fruit mixed in! * Spicy Roasted Pineapple Margarita – This recipe is a bit more involved, because you have to roast the pineapple, but I think it will be worth the extra prep time. * Raspberry Margarita with Chambord – Raspberries? Yes, please! Anything with berries! I’m anticipating this recipe will become a new favorite.
If you make my blended margarita recipe, or any of the other fun margaritas I’m trying this summer, let me know. I’d love to hear how you like them or see a picture on Instagram!
If you have a favorite margarita recipe, share it in the comments. I’ll happily try it. 🙂
XOXO,
