Best To-Do List Apps To Keep You Organized (For Android and iOS)
With working a full-time job, blogging, and having a life…I have to lot of things to do every day, and I love finding ways to be more organized. My to-do list can get out of control, so I’ve been looking at different to-do list apps that can help me stay on task and make sure I meet all of my many due dates.
Best To-Do List Apps To Keep You Organized (For Android and iOS)
I’m going to share some of my top to-do list picks with you, so you can get organized with me!
1. Google Keep
If you are looking for something simple with a classic to-do list feel, Google Keep is the app for you! You can add notes that look like sticky notes, but in addition to leaving yourself simple notes, you can build lists, leave yourself voice memos, and save images. Everything can be organized with tags and categories, and you can even invite someone to collaborate on a note with you.
Since this is a google product, everything you do in the app will be saved in the cloud and can be accessed from all of your mobile devices and on desktop.
Available on Android and iOS. Free.
2. Todoist
Todoist helps your organize tasks by date, tags and color-codes. You can even create sub-tasks and sub-projects.
If you have the premium version, you can set up notifications, email reminders, and more filters for your tasks. One thing I really like about Todoist is the ability to assign a priority to your task as well as a color code. You can check a report that will show you how many tasks you have completed based on your color-coding. So you can easily see if you are accomplishing your most pressing projects or not throughout the week, and make adjustments as necessary.
Available on Android and iOS. $29/year
3. Trello
Trello uses boards and cards to organize your lists and projects. You can then drop, color-code, and organize your boards and cards – it even has a calendar view if that helps you to visualize the timeline for everything you need to complete. It’s easy to drag and drop items and move them around. You can also share your boards with other users and integrate with Google Drive and Dropbox.
There is a paid version hat that gives you more storage and other added features, but the free version is a great start.
Available on Android and iOS. Free or Paid versions.
4. Things
This is a great app for people who are drawn to simplicity. It has a nice design and allows you to organize multiple lists and tasks. You can’t collaborate with other people, but it does integrate with your Apple Watch.
Available on iOS. $10
5. Habitica
I haven’t tried this one, but it looks kind of fun! It’s a great to-do list for people who enjoy video games. With this app you can turn your to-do list into a medieval-themed video game. The more things you check off your to-do list on time, the better your character will fare. Of course, your character will suffer if you fall behind on your list.
Available on Android and iOS. Free.
