How to improve your Blogging Creative Juices
First, do you ever spend time banging your head against the wall trying to select the best blogging topic? Or do you ever find yourself walking around, calling friends, or family to get your creative juices flowing? Perfect, let’s stir up some “ingredients” that will help overcome some of these common challenges. Let’s get started.
The Blogging Writer’s Block Ingredients and Directions
First,1 pintof confidence. Never doubt yourself and your abilities to show and share creativity. In fact, express your imagination and watch others “blend” with your individual style and inspiration.
Second, 1 cup of support. Generate buy in from family and friends who validate your blogging initiatives. There is nothing better then a circle of support to give you positive encouragement when you discover yourself in a blogging slump. Surround yourself by people who assist in the tough times but also celebrate the successes. Build on existing relationships and meet new in different places and atmospheres. As a matter of fact, I can say I’ve met some great people in the short time I’ve been on this journey. Thank you for all that you do!
Third, 3/4 cupof organization. You’re probably wondering how to organize all of your writing ideas! Simple, write down any thought, idea that comes to mind. Keep a pen and pad on your nightstand and readily available. Text a message to yourself, email a list of topics to yourself and prioritize by common interests. Furthermore, download a good app like ever-note or one-note where you can create folders and organize by importance.
Fourth,8 tablespoonsof scheduling. Lastly, block out a specific day or time of the week to dedicate yourself to writing. When you devote time you will experience less distractions and it’s easier to manage the day and or week. Next, recognize and set the number of times a week, bi-weekly, monthly you would like to blog. For example this can be weekly Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Schedule 2-4 hours in the morning if this is when you have the best innovation, and writing. From here on, once you have a solid schedule and consistency blogging will become easier.
Fifth,1/4 cupof relaxation. Walk-away and find an outlet to rejuvenate the mind. Have you tried Hot Yoga? Let me tell you this is one of the most challenging exercises that comes with several physical and mental benefits. Typically, the hot yoga practice is made up of 26 different postures in a room temperature of 105 degrees or warmer. Also, make sure to bring lots of water and towels to wipe the sweat! Again, you can read more benefits >here.
Finally, if you read to the end, thank you! Leave a comment and let me know what you think!
